The Pension San Isidro is situated in the centre of the city, and thanks to its excellent location you can walk to Madrid's main tourist attractions: Museo del Prado (Prado Museum), Museo Reina Sofía (Reina Sofia Museum), Museo Thyssen Bornemisza (Thyssen Bornemisza Museum), Jardín Botánico (Botanical Gardens) and Parque del Retiro (Retiro Park).

Also at close proximity to squares and buildings of great cultural and artistic interest, placing our Pension in a prime location within the city of Madrid. An environment with a typical atmosphere, just metres from Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor.

Excellent transport links via the main bus, metro and tourist bus lines, which will take you to any of the city's attractions, as well as linking you to the train stations (RENFE and Cercanias) and Barajas airport.

At close proximity to bars and restaurants, leisure and entertainment hubs, such as clubs, cinemas, theatres, cafes, pubs, etc., and close to Madrid's main commercial area, with large department stores, young fashion stores, sports shops..., where you will find everything you need, as well as buying the gifts and souvenirs typical of the country and the region.

How to arrive by car

To get to the Pension San Isidro, you can follow the directions we have provided below:

From Barajas airport: Take the M-110, exit Madrid Este (East) and, then, the E-90, M-30, towards the centre of the city.

Opposite the Pension, is Plaza de Santa Ana, where you will find a 24 hour public car park. At the start of calle Principe there is another public car park, metro Sevilla, also open 24 hours.

How to arrive by public transport from the Airport

  • Metro Route recommended by the Pension and other guests: Take line 8 (pink) as far as Mar de Cristal. From there take line 4 (brown) as far as Goya. Then change to line 2 (red) as far as Sevilla or Sol.

Two alternatives:

  • Sevilla metro station: Take line 8 (pink) as far as Nuevos Ministerios, where you change to line 9 (purple), towards Puerta de Arganda, as far as the station Principe de Vergara, and take line 2 (red) to the station Sevilla.
  • Sol train station: You can travel by metro and train (RENFE, Cercanias): Take line 8 (pink) as far as Nuevos Ministerios, and go to RENFE Cercanias in this station. Take line C3 (towards Aranjuez) or C4 (towards Parla). Get off at the station Sol.

  • Sevilla: Line 2- red.
